An update

Okay, I think I'll keep this quick and to the point.  After 2 more ultrasounds the IP's and the doctor made the decision to proceed with the selective reduction procedure.  The twins will be reduced and I will carry the singleton.  I know this is a touchy subject and people had their own opinions on what should have happened.  However this was a decision made by the parents and their doctor and it was done with much consideration and heartache and I stand by them completely.

I'll be seeing a high risk pregnancy doctor shortly for a consult and the procedure will be done soon after.  Please keep all of us in your thoughts.

  1. I pray that this means smooth sailing for the singleton! I am sad for everyone that you aren't able to carry the others (and like you said that was not a decision easily made I am sure) but rejoice that the singleton has a great chance at being totally healthy.
